AMANDA ALLAN

Although much of my work is conceptual using film and photography, I always return to drawing, exploring imemory through imagined and found objects using ink and pencil.

Thinking through how to create, make and overcome obstacles….a sometime art teacher, pattern maker, artist, observer of small details.

Exploring the space between public and private space. My work is concerned with the slippage between the universal and the personal; a curious eye in an open ended, unresolved, intuitive dialogue firmly rooted in the language of the feminine.
