THE WAINSGATE ORGAN

Wainsgate, unusually for a Nonconformist chapel, has a particularly fine organ, built by Wordsworth & Co. of Leeds. It was installed in 1891, when the chapel was remodelled.

The organ is still played regularly, but is in need of a complete restoration to restore it to its former glory, and we are currently looking for sources of funding to get this superb instrument properly up and running again for the enjoyment of all.
